If I was to define freedoms and human rights in the brains of an ordinary Cameroonian, it means absence of the authority forcing you to do what you don’t want to do or what does not benefits you. That only exist in Cameroon now. If you are unfortunate, you might be caught up with western principles of freedoms and human right. Even with that, you still have one card to play, bribe your way out. That is the true definition of freedoms.
Do not blame your free state against your presumed expectations of freedoms or confused your own accountability and responsibility against state liabilities.
You can not claim not to be free in a country where everyone is free to do as they want? Freedoms have limits and does not mean libertarian society just as western concept of freedoms and human rights does not mean the absence of the law that stops you from exercising the very freedoms they are preaching.
In Cameroon, what are you not free to do that you can only do in the western world with accountability? Western countries are not utopian structure nor can you exercise more freedoms than the freedoms in Cameroon.
