Why is Cameroon Not Developing. Anglo Saxon Culture (Dark Ages) in Anglophone Cameroonians Vs French Culture in Francophone Cameroonians.

Simple: Cameroonians spend their time reciting the textbook and glamouring Platonic emotional life over real practical matters that require raw knowledge. If you are confused between your image and your real self, who would you serve and when will you assign the time to examine, cherish your real self and do something meaningful to yourself? Cameroonians have spent half a century fantasizing about Paris and England and instead of building it for themselves. Worse of all, 90% of all educated Cameroonians spend their time arguing between inferiority verses superiority of the English or the French when they should be arguing on how to rediscover themselves and move on.

In frustration, youths have turn to preachers, occult societies arms etc and internal self created conflicts of irrelevance. I must reiterate to those assuming Englishness that England was not in Cameroon. It is like Calling Rome in Italy Latin (Roman) language because the Roman Empire spoke Latin and Italy was part of the Roman Empire

I am Bamenda and Bamenda has well-educated people, but what matters to us is missing (Knowledge). I serve one God, the God of Spinoza. Glamouring Anglo Saxon cultural nonsense in ignorant people of the NW and SW is like forcing an Chinese from Hong Kong to ignore his Chinese New Year for Halloween’s etc. It is like telling a Mankon man the irrelevance of his tradition wedding or an Oku man that his traditional famous dance is second class. It is like telling a Bafut chief that Bafut legal system does not exist or predate German colonisation of Cameroon. The U.K. brought this idea to you and you are proud of it. What did they take from you? We are a joke. Do English people wear your Regalias?

It is like ignoring the 5star famous Bamenda regalia because it is an African creation. It is like forcing a German from the East to abandon his/her Das Land der Dichter und Denker ideals to Russian Pagan Holidays or Russian Orthodox Christmas Day etc. What I find disturbing in our assertion of anglo Saxon culture is the mixed belief in English. I mean trying to behave and adopt English practices (laws, education, behaviors ets) that don’t exist in our society.

Let us put this in real context of our perception of anglo Saxon culture. I must remind you that this concept only exist in archives in England itself. Ambazonia claims to represent the NW and SW. I am happy they have a government in waiting. Can anyone with anglo Saxon mentality point to any actions/behaviours of Amba that has any connection with Englishness? Why preach what you don’t understand.

I must use this opportunity to remind all of you that English language itself is a very new language derived from Germanic tribes of today’s northern Germany. For any one who knows Bda and Ngemba people or Sawa and Doula people, these groups of people’s dialects are very close. Imagine this various groups of people invading the Ewondo and Bulu land, capturing the land and settling there. In a long time these diverse group’s descendants will speak a common language. These groups are what history calls anglo Saxons (Angles, Saxons, and Jutes who invaded the Celtics of England). Europeans are famous for painting themselves white. The word Anglo Saxon was coined in the 18th century but anglo Saxon era ended in 1066A.

Do not confused yourself with modern England and the dark ages and remember patriotic people often have tree roots used to demonstrate their superiority over others hence Anglo Saxon reference to England is not generally understood by many including us.

What is fascinating about us Cameroonians is the fact that we don’t question knowledge or question the history presented to us but always attempt to use it to cancel facts. To that, I will use the Second World War as an example of distorted facts painting people white because they won the war and others black because they lost the war and give you a balance imagination for you to conclude but what is the relevance of Anglo Saxon culture to a Cameroonian when it has no real relevance to an English man? History paints Nazi Germany as the mother of all evil regimes but name a regime through out the war that was not evil and point to their good deeds that rival Nazi Germany achievements to the world of today? If Germany became a third world country as a result of the war, how would you perceive Germans today?

I am from Bda, I am Bda, I am proud of my tribe’s culture. I am not an anglophone and my culture is better that anything Anglo saxon or French. I am above all a proud Cameroonian learner
